MONICA'S 12TH BIRTHDAY

Monica turned 12 on February 5th.  I can't believe how quickly the years are just passing us by...!  Her celebration was a culinary and carbohydrate-packed extravaganza, with homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast, loaded potato skins for lunch, and chicken and cheese enchiladas for dinner, all upon Monica's request.  In the afternoon, we continued our celebration and met up with 3 of Monica's friends at a local gelatería in Boquete for ice cream.  The day was super fun, and Monica felt loved and celebrated. The many phone calls and email wishes from family and friends in the US were greatly appreciated.

We sang "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and put 12 candles on Monica's decadent cinnamon roll.

Monica can't wait to eat loaded potato skins for lunch.

Monica's Boquete friends were so sweet to join us for gelato to help celebrate her birthday.
